Kids Area
The Pizza Hut Kids’ Area will bring games, contests, and art projects galore to the 50th anniversary celebration of Art Fair on the Square.
Among the activities on tap for kids are:
• an Art Project Tent featuring screen printing, potato-stamping on painters hats, and a make-your-own book and greeting card station;
• face painting;
• a Hula Hoop contest;
• a weekend-long game of Simon Says, beginning at 9 am Saturday and continuing until the fair closes at 5 pm Sunday;
• a Toddler Tent featuring Stick the Bird on the Tree (a toddler-friendly version of Pin the Tail on the Donkey), a rubber duck pond, and a coloring table;
• a sculpture contest with Pizza Hut boxes, plates, napkins, and other products as the “medium” (prizes will be awarded Sunday at 3 pm);
• a “Dragon 4-in-1 Inflatable Bouncer” with areas for jumping and climbing, an obstacle course, and a slide.
The Pizza Hut Kids’ Area is located at the King Street corner of the Capitol Square.
