VOLUNTEERS
We’d like your help!
The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art needs more than 600 volunteers to help with the Art Fair on the Square on July 11th and 12th. Volunteering is a great way to see old friends and make new ones while enjoying the creative work of nearly 500 artists on the beautiful Capitol Concourse.
Volunteers may choose to work at MMoCA concessions or help with artist relief:
BRATS & BEVERAGES: Fast-paced, fun and often messy. Great place to work with friends or make new ones. Grill brats. Serve soda and beer.
BEVERAGES: Fast-paced and fun without the grills. Serve soda and beer
ARTIST RELIEF: Either sign up artists for breaks or sit in artists´ booths during breaks.
Short volunteer shifts leave plenty of time for sunshine, art, food, music, and entertainment. Saturday shifts run from 8:30 am-12 pm; 11:45 pm-3:15 pm; and 3 pm-6:30 pm. Sunday shifts run 9:30 am-12:30 pm; 12:15 pm-3:15 pm; and 3 pm-6 pm.
Volunteers receive one free food coupon and one free beverage coupon, redeemable at MMoCA concession stands, for each shift worked. Work three shifts and receive a FREE Art Fair on the Square t-shirt.
Contact the Art Fair on the Square Volunteer Coordinator with questions by emailing volcoord@mmoca.org or by calling 608.257.0158 x 244.
