Questionable Place

A skeptical woman—her ankles laced with the leash of her pet held by a tiny man on a stool with his own, smaller dog—peers out of the corner of a fantastically constructed room filled with improbable proportions and out-of-place openings. She seems to occupy a liminal space, straddling two distinct worlds. Saturated color fields, bounded by sharply drawn lines, drive our eye to look outward and consider the physical realities of this “questionable place.”
