Art Cart 50th Birthday
Saturday, June 7 • 10 AM– 2 PM • Free Admission
Celebrate 50 years of the Art Cart! Join us for two free family events: kick off the summer Art Cart season at the Museum on June 7, 10am-2pm with a free open house and community art project. The celebration continues as MSCR and MMoCA unveil the Vilas Park Shoe, 1602 Vilas Park Dr., on July 27, 9am-12pm with more art projects and family fun!
Art Cart is a free, travelling art program that provides creative, outdoor art-making experiences to children ages 3+ and their families. Activities include both group and individual projects, with a variety of materials.
Art Cart is a joint project of the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art (MMoCA) and Madison School & Community Recreation (MSCR). Art Cart EXTRA! is organized by MMoCA.
